When I first saw this movie I didnt appreciate it like I do now. Because I was so young that I didn’t get the main idea when I first saw it. Just recently I saw the movie again. What an amazing and moving story. That movie teaches you so much about life and the meaning of it. That life isnt as bad as most people feel. Forrest Gump, the innocent man can impact so many lives with his innocence. The meaning of the movie to me is that everyone needs to have a better outlook on life. That we need to appreciate more of the little things and not let the big things hold us back. Although life may throw us trials and tribulations like a box of chocolates, we just have to bite into it and get through it even if we dont like it. I just love this movie. He also becomes a table tennis player and participates in the "Ping Pong Diplomacy" between China and the U.S. It is because of a simple remark from a comrade that he chooses to go shrimping after retiring, and he finds success in that venture as well.
Forrests life appears to be filled with bizarre successes, but these successes are closely tied to his spirit. Forrest is determined to follow through on his word, and his bizarre persistence leads to his extraordinary achievements.

Tonight, I watched the movie "Forrest Gump" with my mom, and his perseverance, loyalty, and kindness deeply touched me.
Forrest is a child with an IQ of only 75, so he had to attend a special school. At school, his classmates mocked and bullied him. However, he never got angry or frustrated. When a few bad kids chased him, he would run on foot. Later, they chased him on bicycles, and then in cars. To avoid being caught, Forrest kept running with all his might. Because of this, he ran faster and faster, even outpacing cars; his determination turned him into a miracle.
Thanks to his incredible speed, Forrest was chosen by the captain of the national football team, gaining fame on the field. Later, Forrest joined the army. When the instructor asked him why he wanted to join, Forrest replied, "I’ll do whatever you ask me to do." Soldiers are expected to obey orders, which made Forrest very popular among his peers. He also made a good friend. However, when war broke out, he couldn’t find his friend, so he went to the battlefield to look for him. He found his injured friend and rescued him. Kind-hearted Forrest, seeing that his comrades were also hurt, risked his life time and again, running to carry out nearly half a battalion of injured soldiers one by one. Forrests kindness and loyalty made him extraordinary.
